FAQ

Yes! All English tutoring is one-to-one tutoring (unless arranged otherwise) with Bridget. Maths and Science tutoring is arranged with the best tutor, either Michael or Roselle, to suit the student's requirements.

Will I be getting tutored by Bridget?

Your tuition fees cover your tutorial times for the term ahead plus all planning and preparation time, worksheets and handouts, resources, and Email Essay Assistance throughout the year. This is particularly useful in the lead-up to exams when you  are writing lots of practise essays and seeking immediate and detailed advice in order to improve.

What do my tuition fees cover?

ANYTHING! Brain-Waves can support you with both your Internal and External assessments in English, Maths and the Sciences. We do have to be careful that we are giving 'appropriate guidance' with regards your internal assessment work but this is our only limitation. We strive to help our students achieve the very best results possible and we will help you as much as is possible to make this happen!

What days and times do you work?

Brain-Waves can be found in the Midwives Inc. building at 186 Hukanui Road. The driveway is immediately opposite the Comries/Hukanui Road intersection. The safest way to approach the building is from the north (coming from Rototuna) so that you can turn left into the driveway. There is usually plenty of parking out the front, and it is possible to drive completely around the building too, should you need to. A map can be found here.
